METIS - BALI, INDONESIA

Hello!
For my first post as a food blogger (read the story here), I want to tell you that my potluck filled with dainty meals.

It was back on 20th July 2014 when my potluck arrived at Metis Bali, a fancy french Restaurant. I was on my trip with two of my best friends when we found this glamorous restaurant. We walked in and were welcomed with sweet yellow and gold lights. A waitress led us to our table and gave us the menu. I looked through the menu, thinking what meal should I fill my potluck with.

I found a roasted duck on the menu and choose one. It was awesome! The taste was so good I can't describe it. The meet was so soft that it loose from the bone as I touched it with fork and knife.

After finishing my main course, I chose some desserts with my friends. We ordered Trio Crème Brûlée, contains of Green Tea Crème Brûlée, Ginger and Lemon Grass Crème Brûlée, and Vanilla and Rasberry Crème Brûlée. The Crème Brûlée was seared beautifully. It tasted sweet, but not too sweet. I could still taste green tea, gingger, and vanilla-rasberry in my spoon of Crème Brûlée.

Not feeling satisfied with just one dessert, we ordered the famous Soft Souffle. We chose Maxi Marnier for our Souffle. This Souffle set contained of Maxi Hot Grand Marnier Souffle, Mini Ice Marnier Souffle, and Drunken Almond Sponge Cake. They were all tasted really good. The Souffle was so soft like a fleece.

Thank you for filling my potluck with your dainty meals!
