OUTBACK STEAKHOUSE - JAKARTA, INDONESIA

I have routine to have a quality time with my aunt. This time, we went to Kuningan City and had brunch at OUTBACK STEAKHOUSE. When I first came in, I can feel the relaxing atmosphere. It was quite quiet because it hadn't lunch time. We arrived at about eleven and was served with Breakfast menu.

Our appetizers was Half Kookaburra Wings. It is chicken wings tossed in a savory blend of secret spices and paired with OUTBACK's cool creamy Blue Cheese dressing and celery. The taste of the chicken wings was unexpected. I was really savor. The skin was also crunchy and the sauce made it more perfect. We ordered half portion for 8 pieces of chicken wings so that we can eat another menu :)

LASAGNA GULUNG - BOGOR, INDONESIA

Back to Bogor, I would like to show you the most popular food in Bogor: LASAGNA GULUNG or rolled lasagna. The place was more like house than a restaurant, making it so cozy. They are not only selling lasagna gulung, but also makaroni panggang (baked macaroni). Since lasagna gulung is quite unique, I'll share it from my potluck.

Just like other lasagna, it consists of minced meat, cheese, and tomato sauce. But lasagna gulung also add some greens inside its lasagna. One lasagna gulung can be cut into 11 pieces, big enough for a family.The taste was good, better if you eat it just after it came out from the oven. When I took a bite, I can feel a mixture of meat, greens, cheese, tomato, and lasagna blended together, making a really nice taste inside my mouth.

Last September, my best friend, Ella, came back from Manchester. It had been about a year since our last meeting. A lot of things happened in a year, and a lot of new restaurants were opening. In 2014, a place called Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK) in North Jakarta happened to be a hype for having a lot of unique concept of restaurant, bistro, and cafe. When we were planning our food hunting, I suggested to go to PIK and she was very exited. We found a cute bistro called LOCALE 24 Dinner & Bar.
